The Circle of Remembering Payment Terms and Cancellation Policy
This, The Circle of Remembering Payment Terms and Cancellation Policy, is an Agreement between you, an applying member (“You” or “Your”), and Dr. Melissa Sophia Joy (“Dr. Sophia Joy” or “We”) )and acts also as Notice to You and an Acknowledgement by You of the Payment Terms and Cancellation Policy to which You are agreeing upon purchasing an automatically renewing membership in The Circle of Remembering (this “Agreement”).
If a provision of this Agreement conflicts with the Terms of Use regarding membership pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, or the protected Founding Member rate, this Acknowledgement will govern.
1 Membership Rates and Eligibility
Membership in The Circle of Remembering is offered at the following rates:
Monthly Fee
- Regular rate: $47 per month
- Founding Member rate: $37 per month
- Advanced Alumni rate: $37 per month
Annual Fee – Twelve Months for the Price of Nine
- Regular rate: $423 per year
- Founding Member rate: $333 per year
- Advanced Alumni rate: $333 per year
“Advanced Alumni” means individuals who have completed a qualifying advanced educational program offered by Sophia Healing Academy with a scheduled duration of at least six months. Qualifying programs currently include the Somatic Awakening® Immersion Program, Quantum Somatic Awakening®, and The Rose-Grail Program. Sophia Healing Academy may designate additional qualifying programs. Enrollment in The Circle of Remembering itself, regardless of its duration, does not qualify a member for the Advanced Alumni rate.
2 Automatic Renewal and Payments
By enrolling as a member, You authorize Dr. Sophia Joy to automatically charge the credit or debit card or other payment method that You provide on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly depending on Your choice below), at the applicable rate set forth in Section 1 above, until such time as You cancel Your membership. Section 7 below discusses how to cancel Your membership. Once You cancel your membership You will no longer be charged recurring membership fees.
A. Monthly Memberships
Monthly memberships renew automatically with the applicable membership fees charged each month on the corresponding billing date established at enrollment until You cancel Your membership. If that date does not occur in a particular month (e.g. for those enrolling on the 31st of a month), the payment processor may charge the membership to the final day of that month or otherwise adjust the billing date in accordance with its standard processing rules.
B. Annual Memberships
Annual memberships renew automatically each year on Your annual renewal date. Your membership will continue to renew annually and You will be charged annually the applicable rate until You cancel Your automatic renewal in accordance with Section 7.
Annual memberships are non-refundable, however, should Dr. Sophia Joy permanently discontinue the membership, any prepaid amount attributable to a period after membership is discontinued will be refunded.
For an annual membership, We will provide a renewal notice at least fifteen (15) days and not more than forty-five (45) days before renewal, as required by applicable law. The notice will state the membership, renewal frequency, renewal amount, and method of cancellation.
3 Founding Member Rate Protection
If You enroll at an eligible Founding Member rate, the base membership fee shown at checkout will remain the same for each renewal for as long as Your membership remains continuously active and in good standing.
“Continuously active” means that Your membership has not been canceled and all payments have been made when due. A payment failure will not cause You to lose Your protected rate if the outstanding payment is successfully completed within ten (10) days after We notify You of the failure.
Your protected rate applies only to the membership plan and billing frequency selected at enrollment. It does not include applicable taxes, optional purchases, separately priced programs or services, or third-party fees.
If You cancel Your membership or allow it to lapse and later rejoin, You will enroll at the rate then available. Once lost, a Founding Member rate cannot be restored, except for extenuating circumstances and then solely at Dr. Joy’s discretion.
The protected rate does not guarantee that the membership, or any particular feature, benefit, teacher, event, or offering, will remain available indefinitely. If Dr Sophia Joy permanently discontinues the membership, any prepaid amount attributable to a period after membership is discontinued will be refunded and there will be no further renewals of membership fees.
4 Advanced Alumni Rate
The Advanced Alumni rate is a discounted membership category available to eligible Advanced Alumni. Eligibility for this category does not guarantee or permanently fix a particular price. The Advanced Alumni monthly and annual rates may increase for future renewal terms in accordance with Section 6. If You cancel and later rejoin, You may enroll at the Advanced Alumni rate then available, provided You remain eligible for that membership category.
5 Failed Payments
If a payment is declined, We will notify You by email and may attempt the charge again over the following several days.
If payment is not completed within ten (10) days after We notify You of the failed payment, Your membership and access to membership materials may be paused until the outstanding balance is paid.
A payment failure will not constitute a lapse or cause You to lose a protected Founding Member rate if the outstanding payment is completed within that ten-day period. If payment is not completed within that period, We may treat the membership as lapsed for protected-rate purposes. The membership may be reinstated once payment is received, subject to the rate then available, unless We restore the protected rate at Dr. Joy’s sole discretion. You will be advised in advance if a new rate will be charged and can refuse reinstatement if you do not agree to that amount.
6 Changes to Regular and Advanced Alumni Rates
We may change Regular and Advanced Alumni membership pricing from time to time. Any express Founding Member rate protection remains governed by Section 3. A price increase will apply only to a future renewal and not to a membership term already purchased.
Before a changed fee takes effect, We will provide clear and conspicuous notice of the new amount and information explaining how to cancel. For a monthly membership, notice of a fee change will be provided no fewer than seven (7) days and no more than thirty (30) days before the change takes effect. For an annual membership that is renewing at a changed fee, the notice will be provided within the time required for both the annual renewal and fee change notices. If You cancel before renewal, You will not be charged for another term.
7 Cancellation
You may cancel automatic renewal of Your membership at any time. Because membership enrollment is available online, You may cancel online through the link on the website under Your account page or by selecting the preformatted link below. The email is addressed and completed for You and may be sent without adding information. Cancellation will not require any further step that obstructs or delays Your request.
Cancel My Membership Automatic Renewal
A cancellation submitted through the online cancellation method is effective when sent. If the cancellation is submitted before Your next billing date, You will not be charged for another term. If a renewal payment is processed after an effective cancellation, We will refund that renewal payment. We request that you cancel three days prior to your billing date to prevent Us from inadvertently charging you.
Cancellation stops future automatic renewal; it does not immediately terminate Your membership. You will retain access through the end of the monthly or annual term for which You have already paid.

9 Refunds
Except where required by law or otherwise expressly stated in this Acknowledgement, membership fees are nonrefundable once charged. Cancellation prevents the next monthly or annual renewal charge but does not provide a full or prorated refund for the current prepaid term. You will retain access through the end of the paid term.
If We permanently discontinue the membership before the end of a prepaid term, We will refund the portion of the prepaid membership fee attributable to the period after access ends.
